Human authority and AI boundaries

Principle

AI may accelerate analysis and production; consequential authority, accountability, takeover, and release remain explicit human responsibilities.

Apply it

  1. Name the decision or behavior this method controls.
  2. Record the current evidence and the boundary of that evidence.
  3. Choose the smallest action that can expose an error early.
  4. Define the stop, review, or human-approval point before execution.
  5. Preserve the evidence needed for another person to reproduce the judgment.

Failure pattern

The method has failed when a fluent artifact is treated as proof, authority is implicit, the claim outruns its evidence, or the process cannot be stopped and audited.

Public status

This is a compact public method card, not a claim that every implementation using it is correct. MIT licensed as part of Dayan Agent Skills.
